Managing Director, Marcus Puddy worked for Lloyds Banking Group for over 25 years and has had numerous roles from their very own John Harvey-Jones to positions in branch management, supplier management and procurement.
Marcus entered the vehicle fleet industry over 15 years ago, having being asked to manage the Lloyds Bank company car fleet. After radically reducing the cost of operating the Lloyds fleet, Marcus moved to Lex Autolease where he spent 12 years building the fleet management, implementation and consultancy teams. In the latter years he progressed to the role of Commercial Vehicle Director where his team was to become one of the market leaders.
With a proven track record in growing, retaining and winning business, Marcus now heads the PVS team, covering all aspects of fleet strategy, procurement, operation and delivery.
Finance manager Kate is a CIMA qualified management accountant. Having worked in large corporates such as Babcock Int and Debenhams as well as small family sized businesses she has a good understanding of differing business needs and priorities.
As well as undertaking the general accounting within PVS, Kate reviews our customers financial data and draws meaningful analysis which can be clearly presented back to the customer.
Over the last year Kate’s knowledge of the industry has deepened, and she is looking forward to generating more savings for our customers as well as helping PVS grow as a sustainable and profitable business.
Finance Apprentice Josh has recently completed his Level 3 Business Extended Diploma at Bridgwater College. The course contained a variety of units ranging from human resources to international law. Upon finishing college Josh started working for SPF Associates in Woolavington as a data analyst for Vinci Construction. His responsibilities included overseeing plant & labour costs and preparing documents for external audit.
As part of his apprenticeship, Josh will be undertaking his AAT qualification. This will give him the knowledge and skill to manage finances, budgets and cash flow effectively.
Josh approaches every task with a committed, positive attitude. He is looking forward to being part of the finance team and developing his knowledge of the fleet industry. Josh has a good sense of humour, enjoys travelling and is a keen golfer.
Executive Fleet Manager, Daniel Tuz started with PVS as a finance analyst. After gaining his HGV Transport Manager’s CPC, Daniel has taken on greater responsibility managing our long term client relationships.
Daniel’s analytic ability and efficient project management skills mean that your fleet is in capable hands with PVS.
Office Manager Kelly started her working life in the Royal Navy as a Communicator, communicating with ships and shore establishments around the world. Since leaving the RN Kelly has worked in the office environment in management and organisational roles. Kelly joins us having worked at Weston College, the top performing College in the South West, working in the Creative Arts Faculty as the Faculty PA, a very busy and demanding position, managing the administration team, organising events, planning and managing projects, whilst ensuring policies and procedures were adhered to throughout the Faculty.
Kelly is highly organised and efficient, a great communicator with a positive outlook on everything, she works hard at building relationships and ensures the job is done professionally and proficiently. Kelly has a can-do attitude and prides herself on the customer service standards she delivers and expects from her teams.
Sales Director Paul Tregale joins PVS Ltd with almost 30 years’ experience in Banking and Asset Finance. Paul is tasked with developing the new Asset Finance Team here at PVS to grow this side of the business, supporting any SME or Corporate business who has a desire to finance most business fixed assets.
Paul started at Lloyds Bank Plc in 1989 where he spent 14 years covering different roles from including Student Manager, Branch Manager and Business Banking Manager. Paul joined Lombard Asset Finance in March 2003 where he worked with SME’s based in most counties of the South West providing those businesses with a range of asset finance solutions tailored to suit their needs.
In May 2009 Paul was promoted to Relationship Director covering businesses in the counties of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire & Wiltshire. These businesses had an annual turnover of £10m to £50m trading across a variety of sectors from Commercial Transport, Manufacturing, Construction and Retail to name a few. In January 2017 Paul joined the South West Corporate Team of Lombard supporting Corporate size clients based in Somerset and Devon, catering for all their needs and providing multi-million-pound credit limits.
Paul is an avid supporter of Bristol City, and is a regular spectator at Ashton Gate along with his youngest son. A just reward for Paul’s success which is driven by a strong work ethic, honesty, integrity and always delivering.
Sales Coordinator Imma Matcham joins the PVS Ltd Sales and Asset Finance team with 10 years’ experience financing business assets across different sectors; including commercial transportation, renewable energy and manufacturing.
Imma graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc Business Administration, she went on to work for NatWest banking group supporting local businesses with all their funding requirements. After 4 years Imma was promoted to Relationship Manager with Lombard Asset Finance where she completed a further 6 years specialising in the finance of business assets.
She has a very good understanding of the market and is passionate about supporting our clients in obtaining the finance they need to fund the assets required to help their businesses continue to grow and thrive. Imma is highly motivated, with a positive determined attitude and she prides herself on delivering excellent levels of customer service. She is also very organised and prioritises her workloads effectively.
